Dr. Rafferty / Our Team
Dr.
Rafferty is dedicated to providing optimal dental care for her patients.
Her office provides a nurturing environment in which children receive
thorough and gentle dental care.
As a
pediatric dentist, Dr. Rafferty is uniquely trained with
additional training in pediatric dentistry beyond a dental degree to care
for the oral health and dental development of infants, children,
adolescents, and special needs patients.
 Dr. Linda Rafferty
is a 1989 graduate of the University of the Pacific School of
Dentistry in San Francisco. She did her pediatric dentistry specialty
training at the University of California, San Francisco in conjunction
with Children's Hospital Medical Center in Oakland,
California. Dr. Rafferty has been in private practice as a specialist in
pediatric dentistry since 1991. She practiced in Sacramento before opening
a new office in Roseville in 2001.
Dr. Rafferty
served on the Craniofacial Panel of Sutter Hospital, and has also
spoken to local study groups and
pediatric medical residents at U.C. Davis Medical Center about pediatric
dentistry. Dr. Rafferty has written several articles about children's
dentistry in the local dental society newsletter.
Dr. Rafferty and her husband, John, originally came
from Baltimore and miss the Chesapeake Bay steamed crabs, but consider
themselves true Californians. They have two grown daughters and five
grandchildren. They have 2 Old English Sheepdogs, MacDuff and Molly.
Growing up, the Rafferty family always had Old English Sheepdogs, which is
where the office theme originated.
Dr. Rafferty
graduated with highest honors from U.O.P. School of Dentistry. She was
awarded the Pop Sweet Award for clinical excellence in the treatment of
children and is a member of the national dental honor society. She has
made many presentations to school children and parents about caring for
children's dental needs.
Dr. Rafferty
has staff privileges for treating children under general anesthesia at two
local hospitals.

Jennifer (Receptionist) is originally from Arcata, California.
In 1994 she graduated from College of the Redwoods' dental program with
her RDA license. She has worked in the dental field ever since. In her
days off she spends time out on the lake skiing and wakeboarding. She also
enjoys hiking and camping with her dogs, Whitney, Abbie and Jake.

Connie (Receptionist/RDA) has worked in the dental field both as an RDA in
pediatric dentistry and as a receptionist in pediatric dentistry and
orthodontics. She graduated from Sacramento City College's dental
assisting program in 1990 with an RDA license.

Laurie (RDA) has been an RDA since 1991.
She lives in Roseville and has three children and a granddaughter.
When she is not here at work, Laurie enjoys camping, going
4-wheeling, and bowling.

Melissa (RDA) has worked with Dr.
Rafferty since 2003. Her family
includes her husband Jeff, daughter Sydney, and their
chocolate lab, Wyatt. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities.

Christy (RDA) joined Dr. Rafferty in 2006
after she moved to the area from Sonoma. She has worked in the
dental field for 13 years, primarily in general dental offices.
She is enjoying the change of pace offered by a pediatric practice
and looks forward to getting to know your children! |
Veronica
(RDA) joined Dr. Rafferty in 2008. She has 10 years of
experience in pediatric dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending
time with her two children, Andres and Bianca, and her husband Ignacio.
